The phrase “energy healing” is used in many traditions, but it can mean different things to different people. At Healing Energy Therapy & Coaching, energy-based and spiritual practices are offered as complementary wellbeing and personal-development services. They are kept clearly separate from psychological counselling, EMDR-informed work and coaching.
REIKI
Reiki is rooted in an energy-healing tradition. A session usually involves quiet rest while the practitioner places their hands lightly on, or just above, the body according to the client’s comfort and consent. People may choose Reiki for relaxation, reflection or a subjective sense of balance. The traditional language of life-force energy is presented as part of Reiki’s belief system, not as an established biological mechanism.
BODYTALK
BodyTalk is a gentle, non-invasive complementary practice based on its own structured framework. Sessions may support body awareness, reflection and relaxation. BodyTalk is not used to identify medical root causes, diagnose illness or correct physical imbalances.
SPIRITUAL HEALING
Spiritual healing is offered as a client-led space for meaning-making, connection and spiritual reflection. Depending on a person’s beliefs, the session may include prayerful reflection, guided imagery or energy-based practices. Claims about clearing negative energy are understood as spiritual or symbolic language, not objective medical findings.
SHADOW WORK
Shadow work is a reflective practice for noticing feelings, beliefs and patterns that may be difficult to acknowledge. It may support insight and self-compassion. It is not automatically psychotherapy or trauma treatment. Where trauma or significant distress is present, psychological assessment or referral may be appropriate.
PAST-LIFE REGRESSION
Past-life regression uses guided relaxation and imaginative or spiritual exploration. Material may be interpreted symbolically, metaphorically or through a person’s beliefs. It does not establish verified memories or prove that a present problem was caused by a previous incarnation.
MAKING AN INFORMED CHOICE
A complementary practice may be personally meaningful without being described as clinically proven treatment. Before booking, you are encouraged to ask what the session involves, what it can reasonably offer, what its limitations are and how your consent and comfort will be protected.
If you have persistent physical symptoms or psychological concerns, please seek advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional and tell them about any complementary approaches you use.
Important boundary: This complementary practice does not diagnose, treat or cure medical or psychological conditions and is not a substitute for appropriate medical, psychiatric or psychological care. Individual experiences vary, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
